Nike's annual Black History Month collection, which first began with a limited-edition Air Force 1 in 2005, will release via Nike.com and Nike retailers everywhere starting at 10am ET today, February 1.

According to Nike, this year's BHM collection was inspired by an assortment of national African patterns, brought together onto modernized prints in a theme of Afro-futurism in sport.

In addition to the new "BHM" sneakers for Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Russell Westbrook and Paul George, Nike has also announced the "FutureVarsity Program," which provides leadership training to 14 young African Americans who are creating positive change in their communities.
